The gang is back! Find out why A. Z. would not have taken Lonzo Ball if he was the Lakers and see how MooseTip felt about the latest WWE PPV. The guys also discuss the outrageous NBA contracts currently being handed out!
I take a look at the targus hd3 gaming chill mat which really works very well. You won’t be able to hear it well in the recording but I hope you enjoy.
Today, the 4 major operating system s of apple are covered. to much was covered to go over in the notes, but I hope youenjoy.
I take a look at google’s calendar for android. I am noticing that people are having issues with that. As a beginner I feel I can help out with those. I’m demoing the google calendar on an LG G6 running android n at the time of this recording
I take a look at the hooke audio headphones and the companion android app I go over what’s in the box, then pairing the device and you get to hear recordings of what it sounds like right from the app.
I would like to thank @jessiepp for joining me on the podcast. If you want to contact hook audio you may do on their [twitter](http://twitter.com/hookeaudio]

I take a look at blindo an android app that allows you to share and import talkback labels for a lot of apps. The list is growing every day so take a look
##what’s in the podcast
I take a look at the following items
- Rating an app. The user can rate apps based on the accessibility of talkback and shine plus
- Importing labels into talkback. The user can import custom label packages using the buttons provided. I did swarm as an example.
- Exporting labels into blindo. This is not as intuitive as it should be but it can be done.
The following will cover a quick way to listen to audio books. I will be using airmore and podcast addict.
I should preface this by saying that I’m 2 weeks new to android, so any corrections will probably be necessary.
- Download podcast addict from the google play store.
- Download airmore from the google play store
- Run both at least once.
- Connect your computer to airmore with the IP address method.
- Click files
- Click the SD card if that’s where you want to put the files.
- Create a new folder for your book files. Note it is best if your mp3s are numbered so, 001, 002, ETC.
- Click import after selecting the new folder
- Import your files.
- Wait until your files have ben imported. Make sure you have all of the files or you might find some odd jumps in the book. I’ve had this happen once already.
Once the book is imported into that folder you will do the following.
- Launch podcast addict.
- click the nav drawer at the upper left.
- Click add new podcasts.
- Click virtual podcast.
- Browse to where the folder is.
- Tap the folder
- Tap ok.
Now if you did things right you should be able to queue each ep in the playlist by double tapping and holding.
I’m reading a book this way and it is working fine. I have the auto advance function on in the playlist, so this makes listening to a book very enjoyable. I hope this simple guide helps someone.
I take a look at crafting kingdom an iOs game which is a fun game to play just to play. It does have some accessibility issues and focus issues with voiceover but the developer is hard at work trying their best to fix the issues. I really am loving the game.
Any comments can go in the disqus frame.
People often ask me why I belong to the national federation of the blind. I could give the generic minute message we have, but I believe our own words speak loudly as well. Here’s my answer to the question.
#why I belong to the NFB.
Why am I a federationist?? I’m a big believer in technology. I believe technology has and will continue to help the blind, however it costs a lot. A simple machine for embossing (that is brailing from a computer on to paper) cost about 5-50 grand, and that’s new. A braille display (a contraption that turns computer screen output into braille right a way for a user) cost between 500 to 5000 dollars. This must stop. I’m aware most of us are buying our stuff through services for the blind in what ever state/country you live, however that gives companies no excuse to charge an arm and leg for the technology. I know companies need to make a profit, I have 2 small businesses so I get it, however this is wrong on so many levels. As a federationist I feel that by making my and others’ voices heard we can stop this treatment of the blind and disabled.
For some reason my audio would not let the voice through I dunno why, but I take a look at mine racer an audio game for mac os. I had a bit of a problem when it came to the game itself but I have emailed the developer and hopefully they will look into it. This is a fun fun game and I hope to do an actual play through one day.
